Distance listened intently, her eyes never leaving Ronia's face. She saw that rage was slowly washing over Ronia the longer she went on.
In an attempt to calm her friend she tried to change the subject. "I buried him in the woods then followed your scent back to the village. I came to your house but I couldn't bring myself to talk to you. When I saw you get onto your boat I realized time was quickly running out. I simply acted without thinking. If you want to me to leave I'd understand." She figeted, her eyes meeting the wooden floor beneath her feet, realizing she had been impulsive and now unsure as to whether she was welcome or not.

"I'm certainly grateful that he has been respectfully put to rest. I couldn't bear to do it myself, not after what I had seen." Ronia said, thankful that the girl hadn't blamed her for his death. Now that she thought about it, Distance had been charged with a similar crime the very night they had all met, so she was probably sympathetic to her situation. But now was not the time for those memories, she still had questions for her stowaway. "You are welcome to accompany me, but will no one miss you back where you come from?"

Alysia smacked her head with the palm of her tiny hand. How could she have been so stupid? She's a fairy, for Nature's sake. She grinned smugly as she opened her sparkling pink wings and slowly rose above the forest. She spread her arms and used her minimal nature fairy powers to clear the path of tree branches and leafs towards the sky.
Once she was hovering above the tree tops, she scanned the area for anything that may lead her to Distance. Alysia spotted nothing but a vast array of different types of trees. spread out before her, leading her towards two different directions. One direction led her home, and when she turned to look over her shoulder, she saw that the forest stopped where the endless sea began. Alysia normally wouldn't even think twice about her decision on which way to go. There was no way Distance could be anywhere near-by. Alysia was about to turn home when she spotted a strange white dot out on the open sea. Curiosity got the best of the small nature fairy and she hesitated for merely a second before she flitted over towards the white dot, wondering what on earth it could be.

Distance's smile didn't quite reach her eyes. "No one will miss me. But- Oh no." She suddenly remembered her fairy friend. "I was supposed to meet someone." She turned to face the direction where Alyssa was waiting for her and smiled. "Nevermind. She's on her way." She waved at the swelling pink dot in the sky. The vampire turned to Ronia. "I don't mean to impose, but is one more visitor alright?"

Ronia started to look up to where Distance was waving when the wind picked up, causing the boat to lurch sharply. Ronia quickly made her way to the sails and shouted to Distance: "I still haven't told you where I am headed, but you and this visitor may come." Ronia continued working with the sails to turn the boat back on course.

Alysia neared the white dot. Once she came close enough to it, she realized it was a boat, and it held two small passengers. Her heart flitted with glee. Her pink wings flapped in the air quickly as she lowered herself towards the boat. Distance was in the boat, along with her friend from before whom Alysia assumed was Ronia.
"Hey friends," She claimed excitedly, her earlier frustration with Distance long forgotten, "Where are you headed to?"
